I was thinking that the rafters for this garage were parallel to the sides. They are on the house end. However where the red strut needs to hang they are perpendicular. So I made some adjustments:
Cut.
Deburr.
Protect steel from rust.
Cut threaded rod to length.
Deburr.
Protect steel from rust.
Temperature seemed colder.
Five pieces of threaded rod hanging.
A helper could make this go smoother and quicker.
Oh well. I don’t have one.

Strut not level yet. Ran out of steam. Tomorrow.
